What Happened?
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims that the steering wheel and front suspension on its Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator vehicles were defective and later became subject to a recall due to safety concerns. Under the terms of the Jeep class action lawsuit settlement, class members can receive a warranty extension of up to eight years or 90,000 miles, whichever comes first. This extended warranty will cover repairs associated with a failed front suspension steering damper. Class members can also receive reimbursement if they had to pay out of pocket to have their front suspension steering damper replaced in the past.
