Your Settlemate membership should pay for itself. If you complete a qualifying year and the verified value you receive through Settlemate is less than what you paid for your membership during that year, we’ll give you another 12 months of Settlemate at no cost.
If you still haven’t received that amount of value by the end of your complimentary year, you can request another 12-month extension at no cost. We’ll keep extending your access in 12-month periods until the cumulative verified value you receive reaches the amount you paid during your original qualifying year, as long as you continue meeting the requirements below.
This is our Value Guarantee: more value from your membership, or more time to find it on us.
Your value target is fixed when your original qualifying period ends. Complimentary extensions do not increase it.
Verified value means a financial benefit you actually received as a result of using Settlemate, including:
An estimated opportunity, pending claim, projected recovery, or potential future saving does not count until the benefit is actually received or confirmed.
Verified value may be provided by a settlement administrator, merchant, financial institution, service provider, or another third party. It does not need to be paid directly by Settlemate, but it must result from an opportunity or service provided through Settlemate.
Eligible subscription fees are the base membership fees you actually paid for Settlemate during your original qualifying period.
They do not include:
For an annual member, the value target is the eligible fee paid for the qualifying annual membership. For a monthly member, the value target is the total eligible fees from the 12 qualifying monthly charges.

Monthly periods do not need to be consecutive, but all 12 payments must occur within 36 months of the first qualifying monthly payment.

You must reasonably review and respond to opportunities, requests, or recommended actions surfaced through Settlemate. You will not be disqualified merely because Settlemate did not identify an opportunity for you.
Your account must remain in good standing. The Value Guarantee does not apply if you knowingly submit false, fraudulent, or duplicate information; abuse or manipulate the program; initiate a chargeback for a qualifying payment; or materially violate the Settlemate Terms of Service.
You must request your first complimentary extension within 30 days after your qualifying period ends. If you qualify for another complimentary extension, you must request it within 30 days after the current complimentary period ends.

We will acknowledge your request within two business days and ordinarily provide a decision within 10 business days. We may ask for reasonable documentation if a benefit was provided by a third party and is not reflected in our records.
If approved, we will provide instructions for activating 12 additional months of Settlemate at no cost. Depending on your purchase platform and subscription status, this may be delivered through a complimentary account entitlement, an offer code, or another platform-supported method.
You may need to turn off automatic renewal or allow your paid subscription to expire before complimentary access can begin. Settlemate will clearly explain any required steps. Your Apple or Google subscription remains subject to the settings shown in your Apple or Google account until the applicable store confirms otherwise.
The Value Guarantee provides additional access to Settlemate at no cost. It is not a money-back guarantee, cash refund, reimbursement, statement credit, or promise that you will receive a specific financial recovery.
Complimentary access:
If you reach your fixed value target during a complimentary period, you may continue using the complimentary access already granted through its scheduled end date, but you will not qualify for another extension based on that original qualifying period.
Settlemate does not process or control refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google independently determine whether purchases made through their stores qualify for a refund under their respective policies.
The Settlemate Value Guarantee does not promise or require a refund from Apple or Google. Requesting or receiving a complimentary extension does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law or a store’s separate policies.
Our goal is to help every member receive more value than their membership costs. However, Settlemate cannot promise that any specific settlement, refund, rebate, savings opportunity, or other recovery exists for you. We also cannot control eligibility decisions, payment timing, merchant decisions, settlement administrators, financial institutions, or other third parties.
What we guarantee is the remedy described on this page: if you satisfy the requirements and remain below your fixed value target, we will provide another qualifying period of Settlemate access at no cost.
If you disagree with our decision, you may request one appeal within 30 days by emailing support@settlemate.io with the subject line “Value Guarantee Appeal.” Explain why you believe the decision was incorrect and include any supporting information you would like us to review.
Someone who was not responsible for the original decision will review the appeal. We will ordinarily respond within 14 business days.
Settlemate may modify, suspend, or end the Value Guarantee on a forward-looking basis. Any change will apply only to qualifying periods that begin after the effective date of the updated terms. The version in effect when your qualifying period begins will continue to govern that qualifying period and any complimentary extensions arising from it.
If you began a qualifying period under an earlier Settlemate guarantee, your eligibility and available remedy remain governed by the version that applied when that qualifying period began. This Value Guarantee does not retroactively replace an earlier contractual guarantee.
This Value Guarantee is incorporated into the Settlemate Terms of Service. Settlemate’s limitations of liability, governing law, dispute-resolution provisions, and other generally applicable terms remain in effect. Nothing on this page limits any non-waivable consumer right under applicable law.
