How Much Is the Mid-America Pet Food Settlement Payout?

The settlement offers two types of monetary benefits:
Pet Injury Claims
- Fully Documented Pet Injury Claims: Paid at 100% of approved documented losses
- Documented Solely by Declaration:

- $100 for pets that died
Consumer Food Purchase Claims
- Documented Claims: Reimbursed at 100% of documented losses (purchase price paid for Mid-America Pet Food products, supported by receipts or proof of payment)
- Undocumented Claims: $20 per bag for up to two bags (maximum $40)
All claims may be reduced pro rata based on the number of valid submissions, as outlined in the Plan of Allocation.
The final payout amount will vary depending on how many people file.

- You purchased Mid-America Pet Food products between October 31, 2022 and February 29, 2024,
- And you are submitting a claim for pet injury, pet death, or reimbursement for contaminated food purchases.
