Flo Period Tracker Privacy Class Action Settlement
What Is the Flo Period Tracker Settlement About?
Plaintiffs allege that software built into Flo transmitted sensitive information about users’ menstruation and pregnancies to third parties without proper consent. The lawsuit asserted privacy, contract and consumer-protection claims. Flo Health, Google and Flurry dispute the allegations and agreed to settle to avoid further litigation.
These settlements resolve claims against those three companies. The separate jury verdict against Meta is not part of the $59.5 million fund; submitting this settlement claim does not affect any right to a payment from that verdict.
How Much Is the Flo Period Tracker Settlement Payout?
There is no fixed payment per person. Google contributes $48 million, Flo Health $8 million and Flurry $3.5 million. Court-approved fees, expenses, administration costs, taxes and service awards are deducted before the remainder is distributed.
Approved claimants share the net fund. Eligible California subclass members who provide the required verification receive twice the allocation of other approved claimants. The amount depends on participation and the court-approved allocation plan. Payments await final approval and resolution of any appeals.
Am I Eligible to File a Claim?
You may qualify if:
- You used the Flo app in the United States between November 1, 2016, and February 28, 2019.
- You entered menstruation or pregnancy information during that period.
- You did not previously opt out and are not within another excluded category.
California subclass membership additionally requires qualifying use in California and residence there during the covered period. Using a different period tracker, or using Flo only outside these dates, does not establish eligibility.
Is the Flo Period Tracker Settlement Legit?
Yes. Judge James Donato of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California oversees the case. The official PeriodTrackerDataPrivacyLitigation.com website provides the court-authorized notice, settlement agreements and claim forms. Preliminary approval allows claims but does not determine that the settling companies violated the law.
When’s the Claim Deadline?
Submit an online claim by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 15, 2026, or mail a claim postmarked by that date. The final approval hearing is scheduled for October 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Check the official site for changes before filing.
Who Qualifies for the Flo Period Tracker Settlement?
The class covers qualifying U.S. app users, not only California residents. A notice is useful but is not required: the official site offers a claim route for people without a notice ID or PIN.
The earlier exclusion deadline has passed. A person who previously opted out cannot obtain payment from these settlements. Eligible users who remain in the class still must submit a timely, valid claim to receive money.
How Do I File a Flo Period Tracker Settlement Claim Form?
Open the official website and choose the appropriate claim option. Enter notice credentials if available, or use the no-notice form. Provide your contact details, relevant address information and truthful answers about qualifying app use, then sign the certification.
Follow the California verification instructions if seeking that allocation. Submit the form and save or print the on-screen confirmation. A downloadable paper claim may instead be mailed to the administrator address above. Respond to requests for additional information and keep your contact details current.
