$1.25 Million Farmers Insurance Do-Not-Call Class Action Settlement

What Is the Farmers Insurance Settlement About?

The lawsuit alleges that agents Nickolas Ward, Nate Esparza, Kyle Ryan Gray, Dustin Huffman, Jason Hall, Brian Shirey and/or LeNard Rhone, or their agencies, made repeated marketing calls or sent texts to personal numbers registered on the National Do Not Call Registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Farmers denies the allegations.

How Much Is the Farmers Settlement Payout?

Approved claimants will receive a pro-rata share of the available fund, capped at $160 per claimant, after administration expenses, court-approved fees and costs and any service award are deducted. The exact payment may be lower if the number of valid claims is high.

Am I Eligible to File a Claim?

You may qualify if your cellular number appears on the list produced in the litigation, the number was registered to a person—not a business—on the National Do Not Call Registry for more than 30 days, and you received at least two covered calls or texts within a 12-month period between April 19, 2020, and June 15, 2026. The claim form also requires certifications about quote requests and Farmers customer status.

Is the Farmers Insurance Settlement Legit?

Yes. The settlement is pending in Division 17 of the Circuit Court of St. Louis County, Missouri, under case number 26SL-CC03879. Atticus Administration operates the official site. Do not confuse this open Heckathorn settlement with the separate, closed Starling Farmers settlement.

When’s the Claim Deadline?

Submit the online form, email a signed form or mail a completed form postmarked by September 14, 2026. The final approval hearing is scheduled for September 23, 2026. Payments will not be issued unless the court approves the settlement and any appeals are resolved.

Who Qualifies for the Farmers Settlement?

The class is record-based and does not cover every unwanted Farmers call. A claimant’s number must appear on the case list and the call or text must have come from one of the named agents or agencies during the covered period. The form asks claimants to certify that they did not request a Farmers quote before the contacts and were not a Farmers customer at the relevant time or within the preceding 18 months.

How Do I File a Farmers Settlement Claim Form?

Online filing requires the Claimant ID from the mailed or emailed notice. A signed paper form may instead be emailed or mailed without an ID field. Provide the covered phone number, contact information and required sworn certifications, then sign and submit. No call log or screenshot is requested, but the claim is made under penalty of perjury and will be checked against litigation records. Contact Atticus if online credentials are missing.
